The finding or development

Participants rated a Persian-language pregnancy app positively and valued its structured guidance. Some wanted broader nutrition and medication information. The pilot did not measure physical-activity changes or clinical outcomes.

What supports it

Peer-reviewed accepted article: one-month Android pilot; 16 participants recruited, 13 completed UEQ and interviews.

Reviewed: Publisher abstract, publication metadata and declarations reviewed 1 November 2026. Abstract-only review; PDF and supplement not reviewed.

Why it matters for design

Shows why favourable experience ratings and perceived benefits should be separated from evidence that a service improves health.

Read with this in mind

Small convenience sample at one hospital; low-risk pregnancies only; short follow-up, Android-only access and no usage logs. Published accepted version remains subject to edits. Detailed methods were not reviewed.
